Merger event
The merger between Pioneer Investments and German competitor Activest: a reason for an event for all employees. Targets: to motivate, to demonstrate size, to build a team. Instead of motivational speeches, the concept relied on strong symbolic gestures and overwhelming pictures to fulfill the objectives. At first every employee had to find his or her portrait in a gallery and symbolically put it up on a wall. All pictures together eventually formed a huge Pioneer logo. For dinner all 350 employees were seated together at only three tables. Twelve huge screens surrounded them permanently delivering messages and changing the look and the feel of the event.
