"Fangsuo" isn’t fixed to be a store selling books but a cathedral carrying wisdom, culture and attitude. It also presents hope and gate lead to a higher level of spirits. Fangsuo gives Chengdu people a place to read, to enjoy leisure time and to enrich mind. We hope people realize the importance of respecting the native culture through it. We want to give China a new image. Books don’t express culture, yet culture doesn’t imply books only. Concrete columns, air bridges and elements of vast cosmos represents the image of "Secrete Scripture Library." It seems all the knowledge in the world is stored in there waiting to be discovered.
