FARO Flatness Check is an augmented reality app that helps contractors to ensure the quality of concrete slabs in high-rise residential and office construction. The app uses a laser scanner to capture data about the floor's flatness and levelness, and then generates an augmented reality heat map that highlights areas that are out of tolerance. This allows foremen to identify and fix problems quickly, while the concrete is still wet, preventing costly rework.
