Fast Rescue
Stretcher
Designed to be used, for example, after an earthquake, when rescue workers have to work in difficult terrain that cannot be accessed by vehicles. Carrying people on stretchers over large distances is very tiring and can have adverse effects on the rescue operation. For this problem, we have devised an optimized stretcher design. Inspired by the affordances of telescopic straps, we have designed a leather shoulder strap attached to the handle. Rescue workers can now carry the stretcher using their arms and their shoulders, which reduces fatigue and enables them to work more efficiently.
User-centered design, enhances the product use and gets more efficient in emergency.
