FAUNA
Candle Collection
Our planet is home to a multitude of beautiful animals. Unfortunately, due to climate change and increasing human activity, some of them are on the verge of extinction. The FAUNA candle collection is here to serve as a reminder in our daily lives of the animals' conditions: as the candles melt away, they make us realize what fate awaits the animals if no action is taken to prevent some species from going extinct. The collection consists of four endangered animals: the panda, the rhino, the tiger, and the polar bear . For every candle purchased, 10% of sales will go to an NGO (like WWF or the Center for Biological Diversity) to help in the fight for wildlife preservation.
A beautiful and rather subtle way to stimulate a reflection on endangered species.
WINNER STATEMENTI am truly delighted to be one of the awarded designers! Getting recognition for my project is really encouraging, and I am very grateful for that. It pushes me to pursue socially engaged design projects and maybe inspire others to do so too!
