The design team set out to create a unique and amazing space for the brand. The coconut tree is the primary theme and the basis for a series of eight abstracted palm leaves that are repeated throughout the space. These 4-meter-long, green-plated steel objects have been "planted" along the walls and corridors, transforming the restaurant into an impressive fantasy forest. The design also includes furnishings such as “droplet” lamp referencing water, and a “spring” table. The project succeeds in its use of a single material and modularized element to create a special atmosphere. Another advantage was lower cost because the leaves could be mass-produced, also a plus when expanding the restaurant chain to other locations.
