Tire

Kumho Tire R&D Center

What kind of tires will future cars need? With the development of autonomous driving, automobiles are becoming more than a means of transportation: they are turning into mobile living spaces. Tires that move living spaces should be completely different. This new electronic tire platform adopts an airless construction. Future mobility will be safer, more comfortable, and quieter with these tires. The airless structure reduces accidents because they cannot be punctured. The independent control of each unit handles road surfaces perfectly, ensuring a comfortable ride. The center unit actively blocks out noise, creating a quiet space inside the vehicle.
