Public Media Art

D'STRICT KOREA. INC.

FLOW, Thereafter: Society is a public media art project presented on the vertical screen of One Times Square in New York. It visualizes the complex relationships among individuals and social systems through metaphorical gestures and motion. Eight characters appear in sequence, gathering and scattering like particles before forming new figures that embody the multilayered structure of society. The vertical format introduces humor through distortion and exaggeration, transforming the Society Series (2023–2025) by artist Sanghwa Park into a participatory urban performance that blurs the boundary between art and everyday life.
