The Flua watering can merges design and sustainability as an iconic, recycled plastic object that aims to create a genuine connection with the environment. It is more than just a piece of sustainable design. It is a promotional campaign for plastic recycling. Made of rotomolded recycled polyethylene bought from local collectors (which ends up being far more expensive than virgin polymers), Flua is an example of waste made design. Its textured and uneven colored surface conveys that message. Its fluid shape and long spout avoid spilling and make watering small vases easy. Unlike other watering cans, and due to its sleek shape, many people use.
