FOCUS JAM² NEXT

Thermoplastic carbon e-mountain bike frame

The JAM² NEXT project is a high-performance e-MTB frame designed, to be manufactured in Belgium using thermoplastic carbon. Traditional State-of-the-Art carbon bike frames pose challenges for environmental sustainability, mainly due to their limited recyclability, supply chain efficiency, and human health. By shifting to an automated thermoplastic production process close to the European market, we raise the product quality to a new level, significantly reduce manual labor, aimed to minimize environmental impact, and enabled recycling and repair. This project demonstrates that high performance and sustainability can coexist.
