Public Art Drinking Fountain

FOREST FOUNTAIN transforms a simple public fountain into an ecological artwork grounded in the “Circle of Water.” Installed in Seoul Forest, it visualizes water as a shared resource among people, plants, and animals. The circular canopy and column evoke a spring rising through the forest, providing clean hydration, shade, and gentle mist cooling. Surplus water nourishes vegetation, while subtle lighting activates the space at night, inviting pause and gathering. The fountain elevates everyday drinking into a communal ritual, restoring awareness of water’s ecological cycle and creating a soft public infrastructure for sustainable urban life.
