Characteristic meanings from airport vocabulary and corporate acronyms are the base for the signage and orientation system of the new headquarter of the Fraport AG. By using light-sensitive foil the main guiding themes – transparency and luminance – are significantly highlighted. Instead of additive elements, only existing surfaces are used as carrier of information. With this the signage system connects with the architecture around itself and defines the neuralgic points inside the building.
