Equal job opportunities for disabled people

The Freigeist Lab has developed a digital assistant system to support mentally disabled people preparing food in a restaurant. We would like the users to enter into a working process independently, without the permanent help of a human supervisor. Therefore they are guided by video projections. Sensors are fixed to the cooking cutlery in order to create an interactive and seamless workflow. The project refers to the Sustainable Development Goals (8 and 4) by promoting inclusion on the job, creating more decent job opportunities, empowering the users with the help of new education methods as well as strengthening their self-esteem.
