To mark the 375th anniversary of the Augsburg High Festival of Peace, we created a contemporary visual identity for the city-wide, four-month cultural program leading up to the Peace Festival on August 8. Guided by the theme “Risk Peace”, the design communicates the core idea: peace requires collective action and courage. Bold colors, strong typography, and playful visual elements highlight the participatory character of the festival’s four themes: remembering, shaping, preserving, and celebrating peace.
