Fritz is a hybrid seating furniture for urban living space. The chair as an object, will be adjusted to new social and functional requirements to achieve the economy of space by multiple use. The unique features of the based plastic POM are used for the multiple function as bar stool, chair and low chair. Using the material properties, the principal of an adjustable seat surface could be reached. This basic principle is transferable to other seating furniture like kid's chair which growing with the child. The project arised from a cooperation with the BASF SE.
