FROM THE EARTH

Catalogue

Pottery exhibition catalogue for the Croatian artist Lidia Bosevski: the artist explores relations between art, nature and life. The selected motifs and materials (natural clay, chemical salt, minerals, grains, cereals, leaves, seeds…) indicate the continuity of change and the transformation of one natural appearance into another, of one artistic experience into another (relief, sculpture, linocut). Following the same principle, the typography on the cover was handmade and designed directly “from the earth”. The concept of COMPUTER FREE DESIGN was applied to give the artwork the opportunity to “talk” for itself, without any computer-driven assistance (in order to avoid any interruption in the natural balance).
