Fuel cell cogeneration system

Panasonic Design Company

The world’s first cogeneration system for domestic fuel cells that simultaneously generates electricity and hot water from city gas. The Matsushita Group has launched full-scale efforts to develop this system, and a gas company has commercialized it. Hydrogen is extracted from the fuel and then transformed into energy through a series of electrical changes. This system reduces emissions of NOX and CO2. The system is attractive as a source of recyclable energy that can create new values in daily life as well as clean energy generation. The system comes with a universal remote control, and its user-friendly navigation modes include voice, text, and motion.
