Fukushima Agricultural College

College

The project envisions an integrated complex combining a training facility, lodging, and student dormitories designed to foster advanced learning and exchange in fields such as smart agriculture. The plan consists of eight timber-framed buildings arranged in separate clusters. Each building features L-shaped eaves reminiscent of traditional Japanese farmhouse “magariya forms”, while covered corridors extend between the volumes, seamlessly connecting with the existing school buildings. This composition creates an organic spatial network across the site, forming a landscape that transitions naturally from the rural settlement to the town.
