Funny Icons is a group of fun and witty icons added to the signs installed in public spaces. Graphics on signs usually involved stiff shapes and strong colors to strengthen communication, but Funny Icons were designed to give smiles and refreshing feelings to pedestrians, even if only for a very short while. While the importance of exercise has recently been emphasized more and more, the number of people taking stairs to high floors instead of elevators is increasing. The calorie icon on the wall represents the amount of calories spent by taking stairs along with the facial expressions to promote a pleasant exercise experience.
