The FuSA chair is a versatile hospital seating solution, serving as a geriatric chair, patient daybed recliner, and visitor’s bench. Designed for patient care, it supports rehabilitation, features an airline-style headrest, adjustable calf rest, and reclines 180° for up to three visitors. The aluminum frame supports 150kg in chair mode and 300kg in bench mode. With medical-grade fabric and hidden safety features like anti-slam armrests and a spring-loaded footrest, it prevents trips. Developed through interdisciplinary collaboration, the FuSA chair enhances healthcare seating with its blend of functionality, safety, and aesthetics.
