Fixed frame aluminium active wheelchair
The FXOne is an active wheelchair with a rigid frame and a strong character, especially in profile. The curved forms are feasible only by a three-dimensional bending procedure (MEYRA is one of only a few European companies implementing this technology). The connection of the steering role is built by a bended element proceeding in the radius of the drivewheel. The adjustment of the front seat height is made by means of this bended element, consequently an adjustment of the steering head angle is not needed, respectively cannot change unintentionally. The lower back seat height of at least 37 cm and the high slope of the seat angle of up to 18° (12 cm) is optimal for the use by tetraplegics. Nearly all adjustments can be made whilst the user is sitting in the wheelchair.
