Gaming notebooks provide extreme performance but poor ergonomics due to their bulky components. Increased thickness and high palm rests cause discomfort while typing. Hot components also cause discomfort during extended use. The concept involved rearranging the bulky fans and thermal management components to the rear of the machine. The resultant tapering profile has 2 major benefits. Firstly, typing comfort is improved due to the low palm rest and 5 degree typing angle. Secondly, we moved the heat and noisy fans are away from the user’s hands and lap. The result is a synthesis of beauty and comfort.
