GE.EV is an innovative EVSE designed to integrate directly with existing public street lighting infrastructure. The goal is to transform lighting poles into accessible charging points, democratising access to electric mobility without requiring complex, intrusive, or costly new infrastructure. GE.EV addresses one of the major barriers to widespread EV adoption: the availability and accessibility of charging points, particularly in dense urban environments where space is limited. By using existing poles, it significantly reduces implementation time and cost, while promoting the image of a smart, sustainable city.
