G&D BPS X9
User Interface design
Giesecke & Devrient
Designed for printing plants and central banks, the banknote processing system G&D BPS X9 checks up to 150,000 banknotes per hour to see whether they are fit for circulation. The precision and reliability that G&D BPS X9 stands for is reflected in the user interface: the reduced, split display provides an overview of the state of the machine and of the ongoing counting and scanning process. The illustration of the work steps is clearly structured based on industry standards. Moreover, the animated machine visualization allows for the unambiguous and internationally comprehensible identification of the banknote transport in the testing system.
