Gem in Forest - Residential Building
Private residential building
The house is located at Sanyi, Taiwan. Surrounded by lush vegetation. The homeowner's vision was creating private art museum in the woods. We took inspiration from surrounding forest and create a jewelry box. The building was constructed mainly with exposed concrete, allowing natural light to subtly showcase the essence of the artwork and furnishing. The indoor background and large blank space make people collecting their thought. The calm gray tone of the indoor and the lush greenery of the outdoor dialogue and blend together to create a hidden and quiet jewelry box in the mountains and forests.
