Geofuture | Urban Renaissance
Art Collaboration, Public facade mapping project
Urban Renaissance project is a collaboration with Dassault Systemes, a French Fortune 50 multinational software corporation. In January 2023, Yiyun Kang Studio and Dassault Systemes revealed GEOFUTURE as part of the Urban Renaissance, a 3D mapping project to illustrate the city of tomorrow. It is the Dassault Systemes' most recent instalment in The Only Progress is Human global initiative, which seeks to inspire people by sharing the biggest challenges of our age and how humanity can help solve them. GEOFUTURE was a public media art project that any Seoul citizen could enjoy at the site. It was also broadcast live around the world.
