Getinge CENTRIC is a new software interface for washer disinfectors and sterilizers for hospitals and life science industry. To ensure patient safety and minimize risk of human error in a stressful work context, the guiding design only shows the information the operator needs in each situation. Easy-to-read color schemes and symbols give the staff full control of the process from distance, and ensure an efficient flow of contaminated goods. The intuitive design supports staff in solving errors themselves without lengthy stops, and also substantially reduces costly training time for new staff.
