Give Me Five
Streetlights
Give Me Five is a very green design. It features small rotatable hands at the lower part of the lamp post, which are easy to reach for passers-by. When slapping the small hands, the lights rotate to generate electricity. During daytime, electricity is stored. The level of charge is indicated at street height. Passers-by can generate electricity by selecting the post with lowest charge as indicated by the color code. At night, the stored electricity is used to power the the light.
