GOBOT was inspired by Seymour Parglass from MIT, as well as by the crowdfunded project Cubetto. The benefits of teaching programming to children have long been known, but since most experts recommend avoiding exposing children to screens, GOBOT was born. Instead of using code or the virtual cube, the GOBOT solid blocks represent abstract code. GOBOT the rationality of programming with the tactile sensibility Lego blocks. GOBOT aims not only to teach children about programming, but also to introduce them to basic geometry and game theory.
