“Teioku Ichinyo”(it means "the garden and the building are one and the same") The final building in a decade-long large-scale apartment development in Fukuoka's Jōsui district. A shared lounge facing a private garden. The design, which eschews ornamentation and focuses on the concept of "Uchi/Soto(inside-outside)," allows for peaceful moments spent viewing the garden's trees. For urban dwellers, the tranquility enveloped in greenery is the ultimate luxury, a place to recognize the value of everyday time, a special place that residents of the apartment can experience. We designed "Uchi/Soto" as one with the desire to be like that.
