LV Insights X is an application for electrical power grid utilities to enable the energy transition. It enables the operators in the control room to master the complexity caused in the low voltage distribution network by the integration of decentralized energy resources – and it does so by visualizing the digital twin of the grid in synesthetic metaphors rather than designing another user interface for monitoring and control of instruments. No compartmentalization in sophisticated structures, but overview and insight in one – allowing operators to master energy flows and quality rather than chasing incidents and alarms in the grid.
