Guardian - Our Take on the Most Sustainable Watch

Watch

Nordgreen ApS

With the vision of making the watch industry and consumer culture more environmentally aware, Nordgreen's Guardian was developed according to circular values. As part of this, an environmental impact screening of a watch was conducted with scientists to innovatively optimize the watch design as well as resource use and supply chain for more durability. The Guardian is therefore made of recycled steel from Outokumpu, the world leader according to ISO14021 regulation. Inside of the minimalistic watch case you can find a Miyota Caliber 9039 automatic movement, and the watch's H-Link bracelet and butterfly lock follow durable design principles.
