Installation

The “Gundam Global Challenge” aims to move the eponymous animation Mobile Suit Gundam, the ultimate dream of fans and entertainment creators. Thanks to Japan's world-class manufacturing technology and cooperation between engineers and people from all walks of life, an 18-meter robot was installed in Gundam Factory Yokohama. The project team, including Nomura as a technical partner, worked for 5 years to turn dreams into reality, serving as an inspiration in the field of robotics. Through an open innovation concept, all elements such as design plan, airframe design, mechanical design, structural design, and verification experiment were consolidated into a single plan.
