Appcessory
H+ is an Appcessory (Application & Accessory) designed to help newcomers (the applicants) solve their problems with the help of long-term residents (the Providers). Applicants enter their needs in the requirement section on the app and pay a small amount of money. Providers wear a bracelet (Bluetooth connection with phone) and enter their skills in the specialties section. When the button is touched, the bracelet's LED lights up in public. This only happens when the applicants and providers enter the same keyword in the app. After solving the problem, the providers receive the money owed to them by entering the applicant's username.
The addition of a lighting bracelet to the app is an important element in making the vital initial contact happen. It also demonstrates how welcoming and supportive the citizens are to newcomers to the city.
