The strength of the H/02 is not just about the sculptural play of hexagonal leg cross sections, from which the ‘H’ in the name is derived. Rather, it lies in the unobtrusive, self-evident coordination of the carefully crafted functional details. The plywood edges are protected by solid wood which can be sanded in case of damage. The H/02 shows character at a private dining table, but at the same time brings the tranquility that is needed for installation in large numbers. With the exception of two screws, glides and bumpers, the chair is biodegradable. A five-year warranty underlines the promise of long-term use.
