Habitat Landscape

Faucet

Habitat Landscape is a kind of wonderful physical effect, moreover, it is also a kind of scenery which seems both real and imaginary. The inspiration of this faucet is coming from the traditional Chinese ink painting. And when showing up the esthetic landscape, it is using the refraction effect of light acting on the water, which means letting the water come out of the faucet and being refracted by the light. It is believed that it can allow the users enjoy the beauty of landscape with stable mountain and moving river and comprehend some Buddhist mood.

JURY STATEMENT

Applying a sense of rhythm to the product, this design brings the beautiful visual experience of a Chinese landscape painting to the bath.

WINNER STATEMENT

We come from a Chinese design team called Pinman. It‘s my honor to win the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD 2017. Our design philosophy is: to strike a balance between traditional culture and modern thoughts, to reach a point where function blends with appearance.
