Bathroom Luminaire

Halo is a new interpretation of the bathroom cabinet. The focus was on creating an optimal luminaire in a bathroom with limited space. This modular system with movable shelves, cup holder, hooks and illuminated mirror allows the user the freedom to create their own bathroom cabinet to fit their individual needs. The illuminated mirror uses porcelain as an optimal reflector and emits an evenly spread indirect light when in use. By a simple turn of the light knob, it enables the user to choose their preferred illumination intensity. With flexibility and optimal light, Halo creates a new way to look at the bathroom cabinet.

JURY STATEMENT

Although a relatively simple concept. This bathroom system is well-designed and thought-through, allowing users to arrange their bathroom to suit their personal requirements. With a little bit of work this could be a real product.

WINNER STATEMENT

We are honoured to win the prestigious iF STUDENT DESIGN AWARD 2016 and we are very happy. For our work to be noticed and appreciated by the jury means a lot to us as new designers.
