Halo

Smart cane with phone

Halo is an intelligent cane with a smartphone that can adjust its height automatically. It enables seniors with walking difficulties to safely ascend/descend stairs by monitoring obstacles while walking & adjusting the height of the cane through a phone-attachable structure. Nowadays, the WHO (World Health Organization) has declared falls as a major public health problem. Incidences of falls in senior citizens have been consistently linked to problems with stairs, according to NIHR. To solve this issue, Halo provides more control, power & comfort while empowering seniors through a patent-pending, height-adjustment mechanism for stable gait.
