This place is famous for pottery, which has been produced for over 400 years. The client, a gardener, wanted to "invite people from around the world to this town while staying close to the local community. The decline of traditional techniques is a problem in Japan, and we, together with the client and fellow craftsmen, decided to return to what had been the norm: local production for local consumption, with "updating tradition" as our theme.Thatch decays and returns to the soil, plants grow, the soil is used to paint the walls, and thatch is newly thatched. We realized a flower shop with a time axis that grows together with people and society.
