Communication Interaction

HANDI is a communication service design that helps deaf and hearing-impaired people express their feelings. By converting the user's facial expression and sign language into an emoji with translated text, it is easy for anyone to understand the message. When it comes to expressing emotions, hearing impaired people are more familiar with communicating through action and gesture. If their gestures can be expressed in the form of emojis in real time, wouldn't it be an easier and more effective way to communicate?

JURY STATEMENT

The use of new digital technologies and big data to foster communication among collectives. The use of gamification and interaction to eliminate social barriers through education. The understanding of children' learning path.

WINNER STATEMENT

It's a great honor to win this award. As working on this project, we realized that the biggest challenge is to narrow the gap between people and technology. We will design harder to reduce this gap and make a better future. Thank you.
