Dreams make a path; a path is a way of life; and life leads us to dream. A dated typewriter, hands of a wall clock that crept slowly to form the circumference of my childhood; musical instruments that brought rhythms to life; and rice stalks that show the cycle of life in its purest form… I gathered these traces of time, dismantled and reassembled them to instill energy into Hangeul. The rich character of the Korean alphabet captivated me. Dreams and Paths have been an unusual journey through which I continued to expand the boundaries of Hangeul esthetics.
