Cultural branding

Following the construction of its new museum building, the House of Bavarian History (Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte) decided to expand its scope, a step that is evident in the museum's completely new corporate design. The design uses a limited number of elements to combine tradition and modernity in a way that commands attention: Historical motifs are combined with powerful colors and Gothic elements from the Bavarian Constitution of 1919, the first democratic constitution adopted by the Free State of Bavaria. In combination with a modern typeface and the generous use of white space, the brand identity achieves high impact in media of all kinds.
