Heartea

Interactive tumbler

ID + IM Design Lab., KAIST

The Heartea is an interactive tumbler which shows the temperature of the content through ambient lightening. It displays three different states telling you the best time to drink your beverage (ice beverage, tea and coffee). It was designed for the “Nanum” project, which is a charitable project that donated all profits (1.7 million USD in 2010) towards educational scholarships of needy children. 1. Shows emotional response with a blinking light, when touched by users symbolizing a humane heart of sharing love. 2. Can write on the magnetic coin to share the message of love. 3. Great example of performing philanthropy through design lead.
