Heartplus
Resuscitation System
Dresden University of Applied Science
Heartplus allows untrained rescuers to provide high-quality CPR and an early defibrillation to sudden cardiac arrest victims. The device consists of a defibrillator and hand tool to deliver chest compressions. It gives the rescuer audio-visual prompts and real-time feedback about depth, frequency and chest release of chest compressions. Its ergonomic design allows the rescuer to perform chest compressions more easily and with less physical effort, and to focus entirely on the patient. When device is in standby mode, it shows the bystanders educational videos about how to administer basic life support. Video: https://vimeo.com/57204399
