June 2011, football summer in Germany, again! The perfect opportunity for INTERSPORT to achieve a prominent market position in the field of womens football. The idea: the Lawn of Heroes, a gaming-app, mainly on Facebook, presenting testimonial Nadine Angerer and her 10 football colleagues. With each click the users can oust the German Internationals. The best 11 users with most clicks remain on the lawn the others have to get off to the substitutes' bench but can return anytime. The result: exciting head-to-head-races, over 1,300 participants and amongst the 11 winners even a man being thrilled about one of 11 hand-signed DFB-jerseys.
