Help.On
Spontaneous Volunteer Coordination System
This project developed a concept to coordinate spontaneous volunteers (SVs) in disaster response scenarios. While SVs provide essential support in crisis response, their lack of organization presents challenges for all involved. Help.On aims to strategically deploy SVs and ensure efficient cooperation with professionals through an informative and coordinating app paired with specially designed operational vests. The system offers a range of tools to guide volunteers through every step, from preparation to post-crisis support.
This ingenious concept was developed to help coordinate the work of spontaneous volunteers in disaster scenarios. This is an elegant and effective response to a very real need.
WINNER STATEMENTIt feels incredible to be among the winners of the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD. The recognition for Help.On motivates us to keep raising awareness of important issues and improve the way we live together. We’re grateful to the iF Jury for highlighting the crucial role of spontaneous volunteers in disaster response.
