Circular padel racket for rental systems

The heppa CLUB is a circular padel racket that can be rented to amateur players through heppa LOOP, a product-service system operated by padel facilities. The project rethinks the conventional padel racket from the ground up, featuring a modular structure with mono-material components and mechanical connections. By integrating product and service design, waste is prevented, operational effort for facility operators is reduced, and materials are kept in circulation.

JURY STATEMENT

The presentation of the overall system is impressive. The integration of end-of-life considerations, along with the strong execution and feasibility, makes this an outstanding submission. Great job!

WINNER STATEMENT

I feel incredibly honored to receive an iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD for my efforts to promote more sustainable practices in an otherwise performance-driven sports sector. Seeing my project recognized internationally motivates me to keep pushing new ideas for a more responsible future.
