Servopneumatic proportional gripper

Festo AG & Co. KG

The HGPPI is the ideal gripper for tasks requiring controllable gripping forces involving different workpiece sizes and shapes. The sensitive servopneumatic gripper delivers a perfectly controlled grip through free and independent positioning of the two gripper fingers so that gripped workpieces can be precisely moved in the direction of motion of the gripper jaws. The HGPPI delivers a higher performance density than electric grippers and is smaller, lighter and yet more powerful. With positioning accuracy of ±0.1 mm, it is the most economical solution available. The entire control and communication hardware is compactly integrated in the gripper housing. All of the ports are arranged to be easily accessible from the front. The design reflects Festo’s corporate design and illustrates the direction of rotation and movement of the gripper.
