Upon completion, the restaurant, permeated with a kind of oriental introversive refinement, fully displays thorough naturalness, plainness and serenity. As a poem goes: “The most capable people stay in worldly life while those seeking for peaceful mind stay in Hidden Cottage which is remote and quiet.” The restaurant is therefore named “Hidden Cottage”. Seeking a way to make this restaurant a real space for stealing quite and peaceful mind from the hustling city life, our design takes the architectural exterior form, spatial axial line planning and interface visual hint as the key points.
