HLS-23
Concept tire
Hankook Tire Co., Ltd.HLS-23 is a tire system that suggests a new method of distributing products for the future. Eight sensors on the left and right sides of a tire allow HLS-23 tires to share their distance information through real-time pairing. Depending on the size and weight of the goods to be delivered, these tires may operate independently or in groups. The two-column treads can control the speed and direction of the tires separately, which allows driving in a straight line or turning around 360 degrees in place (a pivot turn). This system allows efficient operation of moving, storing, and charging in limited storage spaces with narrow individual footprints.
